ISLAMABAD: Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) is being celebrated today across Pakistan with great religious fervor and solemnity. The nation is marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with deep reverence, unity, and a sense of devotion.
Gun Salutes and Special Prayers
The day began with a thirty-one-gun salute in the Federal Capital and a twenty-one-gun salute in provincial capitals, symbolizing the significance of the occasion. Special prayers were offered after Fajr for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, along with prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Public Holiday Declared Nationwide
The government has declared a public holiday nationwide to honor the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). One of the day’s highlights is the National Seerat Conference in Islamabad, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. This event will feature discussions on the life and teachings of the Prophet, emphasizing the need to follow his Sunnah.
Streets and Homes Adorned with Lights
